Joakim Dahlqvist is an architect, designer, illustrator and digital artist.

He has studied architecture Chalmers School of Architecture and received a Masters degree with honors from the Design Research Laboratory at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. He began his creative career in 2000 with OMA/AMO in Rotterdam, working mainly on the research, technology and content projects for Prada. Since 2003 he has been a freelance creative consultant, continuing work on Prada projects with OMA as well as pursuing a diverse series of projects for April, National Geographic, Kram/Weisshaar, Hosoya Schaefer, Christian Kracht, Eva Munz and Acne. He has written for Volume Magazine and Der Freund. He has taught and held workshops at UCLA, Sci Arc, Otis, Berlage Institute and Architectural Association.

The work branches from architecture to art, creative direction, design research, video installations, construction, operations, research, photography, cooking, editing, illustration, animation, compositing, 3D modeling, book making and web strategies.

He is currently based in Los Angeles, Milan and Norberg working on independent projects and developing future collaborations.
